mitsuro serpent bangle

When molten, bronze flows better and cools slower than other metals. This allows the casting of longer, more intricate objects that would simply not work in other materials.

The trade-off is that bronze is more difficult to grind and polish than silver or gold. In the time it takes to complete one piece of Mitsuro in bronze, five or more sterling silver castings could be finished.

materials:

Mitsuro, in cast and patinated silicon bronze.
