veil brooch

Heather came to us looking to create a personal talisman for a novel she was writing. Based on the book's central theme being the threshold between life and death, the symbol we developed for the brooch is a stylized combination of the alchemical symbols for Quintessence (Raw energy of living things.) and Saturn (Harvest, the origin of the modern grim reaper image.)
